The Past Messing w/ Your Present & Future?

In session, I started in the energy field moving the stones through my client’s root chakra energy as my intuition dialed in. The image of the earth shaking under my client’s feet came through like their foundation was rocky and there was fear and no sense of safety. But I felt pressed to hear what was behind the image which I read as “that’s not true.”

It felt like the energy field/body was still operating according to the season of life my client went through not feeling steady, stable and safe exacerbated by karmic relationships that lacked giving them a sense of protection in life. Their system believed the past was the present despite the logical mind being aware of the truth of very physical hard evidence that all was well.

So, how did we shift it?

We started by placing attention on the feet, imagining and feeling as if their feet were firmly touching the earth. This earth was very special though. Not only was it steady and stable like we trust earth energy to be, it was a fertile earth so specific to my client, it was their earth. As I tapped in I was struck by how this was rich soil, nutrient dense and hydrated and there were green sprouts cropping up everywhere from it. We encouraged my client’s system to really soak up this scene. To feel the safety and stability of this soil and feel their feet get pulled in ankle deep to really take it in. The key was for the system to recognize this was earth and life my client had created themselves and it was the truth of the present reality with great future potential in all these sprouts shooting up from the earth.

Reading Erin’s words about my session brought me right back to what I felt in that moment.

What struck me most was the realization that the ground beneath my feet wasn't something I was waiting for someone else to create for me.

It was mine.

I created it.

I have spent years building safety and stability for myself and my children. I have made incredibly hard choices. I have rebuilt. I have protected. I have provided. I have created a home and a life where there is love, consistency, possibility and room for things to grow.

And yet, if I'm being truthful, I still carry so much fear and doubt.

There is still a part of me that waits for the ground to shake.

A part that questions whether I'm safe even when there is evidence all around me that I am. A part that looks for signs, asks for reassurance and wonders what's coming next.

That's why the image of my feet sinking ankle-deep into this rich, fertile soil felt so significant.

Maybe the invitation wasn't to find safety.

Maybe it was to finally allow myself to feel the safety I've already created.

And then there were all those little green sprouts.

That might have been my favorite part.

Because they weren't fully grown plants. They were beginnings. Possibilities. Evidence that something is already happening beneath the surface, even if I can't see yet what each one will become.

Even the imagery around partnership felt different through that lens. I wasn't standing on someone else's ground waiting for them to make me safe. I was standing firmly in my own soil, and the partner beside me had tended to his own soil too.

Maybe that's part of what I've been asking for signs about.

Not, "Who is coming to save me?"

But, "Can I trust what I've already built enough to stop living as though it could all disappear?"

My life isn't perfect. There are still unknowns. I still get scared. I still doubt myself.

But perhaps healing now looks less like creating an entirely different life and more like teaching my body that the life beneath my feet has changed.

The ground is here.

It's mine.

It's fertile.

And things are already growing.
