The Polarity Series: This series gives us the opportunity to explore opposite and complementary energies through the lens of gemstone consciousness. We will journey into, appreciate and integrate these inherent dualities that exist in us as well as the natural world and universe.

The Opposition of The Waking Mind and The Expanded Mind with Blue Sapphire and Lapis Lazuli. Blue Sapphire connects with our waking mind, the thoughts we use to analyze the world around at any given moment through our perceptions, beliefs, ideologies/philosophies and judgements. This is critical to determine if we are perceiving reality accurately. Lapis Lazuli, on the other hand, opens us up to expansion of the mind or the higher mind of imagination, creativity, inspiration and intuition. We can look at the world of possibilities outside the often biased box of the waking mind. We’ll appreciate both aspects of the mind and align the two opposing forces with Lavender.
